H ELLOOO world.

Here you have a website in the old style of web 1.0. From the summer nights where crickets would rub their legs in resonance to the hum of your disk drives and chirp along with the seeking of their heads. When every kilobyte was a perceived notched march of pixels across the bold blue loading bar at the bottom of the window. Every page written lovingly by some hand some where transmitted over wire designed to carry nothing more precise than human speech.

There was paper around then. Flyers, Catalogs, Mailers. You would see it on the street before it was swept up. Posters from weeks ago. Dates written by hand and typewriter posted onto street poles. There was a verbally transmitted technique to it all. You knew to pull off one of the tabs before you taped them up. They didn’t start recycling paper till later, so you saw stacks of every magazine, most no longer published, catalogs laid out with a baroque opulence in layout far outscaling anything printed today. Everywhere. Blowing around outnumbering the leaves that joined them at certain times of year. The information contained in the pattern of the ink, toner, seeing as serving its purpose in total.

The primary focus on this website, the inspiration I draw from sites too irreverent to mention, is to comment on both physical things, natural and artificial, that I see around me. Also to comment on current events as I am able to become aware of them.
